Chile De Arbol
Chile de Arbol is flavorful, earthy, and packs a punch. It is known to be closely related to cayenne pepper and its infamous acidic heat. During the drying process, dried De Arbol develops a distinctly intense flavor that further enhances its experience, even more so than when fresh. It is very popular in both Mexican and oriental cuisines, and widely used in salsas, chutneys and stir-fry’s.
Flavor Character: Bright, natural, and earthy notes, with sharp heat and a kick. Medium to high heat.
